“Why Weight?” Group Boulder

Silhouette of Woman Jumping pic“Why Weight?”

When you woke up this morning, did you consider all of the many choices that you would make throughout the day? Make today the day that the choices you make bring you closer to the way that you want to feel in your body. Each one does matter, and I can help support you in making positive choices.

What’s stopping you from taking (or keeping) the weight off? The short answer is that you do not have access to the root cause(s) of your body issues! Think about all the time and energy that you spend on anxiety and worry about why you can’t follow through, why you feel overwhelmed and at odds with yourself when you make a poor choice or behave in self-sabotaging ways. Isn’t it time to stop? Isn’t it time to commit to yourself to do what is necessary to create lasting change? Isn’t it time to be comfortable with and proud of your own healthy body?

Invest in your slim and healthy future instead of in larger clothes.”

My “Why Weight” Group for women is beginning late Spring ’12. This unique seven-session workshop consists of one private session prior to six 2-2.5 hour small group sessions. After this series of group sessions you will have weight management results; a deeper understanding of personal strengths and self-knowledge; and tools to help you maintain your progress, as well as continued support via check-in calls with me and through my informational blog.

This uplifting process of change is based on an in-depth approach to natural weight loss that lasts. Topics we will explore include:

  • Designing a customized “blueprint” of your personalized weight loss plan and setting realistic goals that fit into your current life. This will set you up for success.
  • Obtaining a deeper understanding of the underlying causes of your weight and motivational challenges. Once brought to light, these challenges become manageable, providing you with a fresh start and emotional ease.
  • How “self-mastery becomes self-confidence.” In each session you will learn a new method to help you overcome emotional baggage related to your weight (e.g., food cravings or negative associations regarding your relationship to food).
  •  You will also be taught self-help techniques from EFT, EMDR, life coaching exercises, and self-hypnosis. These empowering tools will assist you in maintaining the weight loss that you achieve.

I believe that … circles of women around us weave invisible nets of love that carry us when we’re weak and sing with us when we’re strong.” – Sark, Succulent Wild Woman
