Hypnotherapy is a gentle yet powerfully profound process of personal transformation. As you can see from the list above, hypnotherapy can be helpful–when you are motivated–with almost any aspect of your life that you wish to change or improve, because it overcomes resistance. Even though you might like to live your life differently, the familiar, even when less than perfect, can be very comfortable. People form habits and routines to keep their days manageable, and the thought of changing can make you feel uneasy. But once you begin the process with the aid of hypnotherapy, change can feel welcome and empowering. Anyone who wishes to use their special talents and gifts to fulfill their life’s purpose can begin a path to self-discovery through hypnosis.

*A NOTE ABOUT MEDICAL HYPNOSIS: Some people may doubt that hypnotherapy is actually helpful for medical issues, and this skepticism is understandable. I completed a specialized training to be certified in HypnoBirthing®. As a mother of two, having experienced childbirth, I was interested to see if hypnosis could assist a woman to birth her baby while awake and aware but still comfortable and in control. Having seen HypnoBirthing® “in action” in labor and delivery rooms, I was convinced beyond a doubt of the effectiveness of hypnosis, and remain in awe of the many uses of hypnotherapy.

Hypnosis is now available to patients at some of the most respected medical institutions in the country, including Stanford Hospital, the Cleveland Clinic, Mount Sinai Medical Center and Beth Israel medical Center in New York.” – Leslie Alderman, New York Times
